Resurface Thomastown Park pathway

Cllr Thomas Joseph raised a motion asking that the Chief Executive make arrangements to resurface the pathway inside Thomastown Park, Sallynoggin, particularly on the Beechwood Lawn side, and to carry out repairs to the road surface within Thomastown Park, as the current condition is very poor and inaccessible for wheelchair users. This motion passed on 4th June 2025, and the report states the following: "Works to improve and upgrade paths within Thomastown Park are on this year's works schedule and have been tendered. We hope these works will commence in June/July, subject to funding being secured."

The pathway improvement and resurfacing works within Thomastown Park, including repairs to the internal road surface, have now been completed, improving accessibility for wheelchair users and addressing the issues raised in this motion.
